I am seduced by the materials that I use in my work. I collect old tins, trays, and other metals which I cut up, assemble and nail onto plywood with brass nails. The colors, patterns and images evoke familiar feelings and remind us of days past. I continue to explore American Pop Culture, family, relationships, childhood, spirituality and simply finding one's place in an increasingly complicated world. |
