Educated formally at the University of Wisconsin and the San Francisco Art Institute, she works from her longtime studio in the Sausalito marina. Kay earned an American Impressionist Society Merit Award and is included in many private, corporate, and university collections. Selected collections and galleries include the BankAmerica, Intel Corporation, Mende Corporation, Extemporanea de Nicola, Tuscany, Charles Campbell Gallery, San Franciso, and the Robert Mondavi Winery.
