Jeffrey Sully |
Jeffrey Sully’s paintings are spiritual explorations, an expression of the unity behind the random fall of thoughts and life events. These shaped paintings, with their “aged” surfaces and vibrant color, delve into the relationship between physical presence and fundamental meaning. The works incorporate different media and techniques which Sully has worked with over the years, from his first exploration of dreams in watercolor, to computer art, wood carving, collage, and assemblage, as well as painting.
Jeffrey Sully received a BA in History at UC Berkeley before going on to get a BFA. He received his MFA in Painting/ Sculpture from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1992.
